Purpose: Coordinate reasonable accommodations that support accessible engagement and opportunity for students with disabilities. In compliance with state and federal laws, we proudly serve Meharry Medical College graduate and professional students across all academic schools and programs.

Mission: Advance academic access, promote disability education and awareness, support student self-advocacy and foster a culture that values accessibility.

Vision: To cultivate a campus where accessibility is seamlessly integrated into teaching, learning, and student support so that all students can fully engage in academic, clinical and campus programs.

Goals:

  • Provide timely, individualized accommodations that support student success while upholding essential academic and clinical standards.
  • Promote awareness, education, and shared responsibility for accessibility as a core component of institutional excellence.
  • Strengthen accessibility services through ongoing assessment, collaboration, and program development.
