External Affairs
The Office of External Affairs & Business Development (OEABD) facilitate and coordinates the use of college resources to support existing community partnerships and engage new relationships that contribute to the educational, health, social and economic progress of the community, region and state.
Faculty Affairs and Development
The Office of Faculty Affairs and Development supports faculty through the appointment, promotion, and tenure process by coordinating with academic leadership and staffing key committees across the college and its schools. It also manages new faculty orientation, oversees standing committee operations, and provides statistical reporting on faculty.
Division of Finance
The Division of Finance oversees five departments that manage the college’s financial resources, systems and services to ensure accuracy, compliance and operational support. In addition to financial planning, accounting, and student financial services, the division supports campus operations such as housing, printing, mail and bookstore services.
General Counsel
The Office of General Counsel (OGC) oversees all legal and regulatory matters that impact Meharry Medical College. With a strong emphasis on reducing risk, it provides advice and representation to the college, its affiliated entities, and its trustees, officers, employees, and students while acting on the college’s behalf.
Communications and Marketing
The Office of Communications and Marketing is responsible for shaping Meharry’s external message, promoting the College and managing media relations. Facilities
The Department of Campus Operations is a part of the Division of Academic Support, Operations, Technology, and Planning, with responsibility for general and mechanical maintenance, custodial services, roads and grounds, moveable properties, event setup, and project management.
Internal Audit
The Internal Audit Department at Meharry Medical College is an independent unit that assesses the effectiveness of operations, controls and compliance across the institution.
