Application Process and Requirements
The following outlines all requirements to apply for the MHS program.
Application Deadline
Applications are currently closed and will reopen in August for the 2027-2028 academic year. The Admissions Committee will begin review in January 2027 and continue until the class is full. The Admissions Committee notifies of final determination on a rolling basis via the email address on the application.
Application Form
The form is hosted online through PostbacCAS. Applications have closed for the 2026-2027 academic year. They will reopen in August for the 2027-2028 academic year.
Statement of Purpose
This statement is part of the application and should discuss the applicant’s preparation for graduate school and reasons for pursuing a graduate degree.
Official Transcripts
Applicants must report all institutions attended and send all official transcripts to PostbacCAS. If you do not list or send official transcripts for all institutions attended, processing of your application will be delayed.

PostbacCAS accepts electronic transcripts from:
- Credential Solutions
- Parchment
- National Student Clearinghouse
Official Scores
MCAT/DAT/GRE test scores are no longer required.
Letters of Recommendation
Two (2) letters of recommendation from faculty or persons who are qualified to certify as to the applicant’s abilities or character before the respective deadlines are required. Letters of Recommendation MUST be on an official letterhead, contain a signature, and provide contact information for the recommender. Letters of recommendation should be provided by current undergraduate or graduate faculty, but at least one (1) letter should be from science faculty. No more than two (2) letters will be accepted or reviewed.
