Our Industry Tech Transfer efforts help translate innovative discoveries into commercial products, treatments, and technologies by connecting researchers with industry partners, investors, and entrepreneurs.

The Industry Tech Transfer program serves as a bridge between MMC’s research community and industry stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the commercialization process. Whether you’re a researcher with a new discovery or a company looking to partner with academic innovation, we’re here to help.
Our Services
- Intellectual Property (IP) Strategy: Supporting IP development including filing of inventions, patents, protections and trademarks in collaboration with MMCV Inc.
- Licensing Opportunities: Showcasing MMC innovations available for licensing.
- Startup & Spinout Support: Connecting researchers with entrepreneurial pathways, investors, grant assistance (SBIR/STTR) and startup resources such as LaunchTN, MMCV Inc., and commercialization resources
- Industry Partnerships: Facilitating connections between MMC researchers and companies interested in licensing or co-developing technology.
- Collaboration Agreements: Guidance on Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), and sponsored research agreements.
