Meharry Research Tech Transfer

Bridging Research and Industry for Real-World Impact

At Meharry Medical College, we believe that groundbreaking research should lead to real-world solutions that benefit patients, communities, and society at large. Through our partnership with Meharry Medical College Ventures Incorporated (MMCV Inc.). Our Industry Tech Transfer efforts help translate innovative discoveries into commercial products, treatments, and technologies by connecting researchers with industry partners, investors, and entrepreneurs.

For Researchers

If your research has produced a new invention, process, or innovation, let us guide you in exploring its potential. The Office for Research and Innovation oversees and guides researchers at Meharry to protect, develop, and commercialize their work through tech transfer services and startup support.

Whether your work includes a new device, diagnostic, therapeutic method, software, algorithm, or any novel discovery in between, we are here to help. Start by submitting an Invention Disclosure Form. We’ll work with you to assess its commercial potential and explore partnership or licensing opportunities.
