Doctor of Dental Surgery
The Meharry Medical College Doctor of Dental Surgery program prepares the next generation of compassionate dental professionals to serve their communities with excellence. Our comprehensive four-year curriculum combines rigorous didactic coursework with hands-on pre-clinical and clinical experiences, providing you with the diverse knowledge base, technical skills, and professional competencies essential for successful general dentistry practice.
Dual DDS / Ph.D.
The Dual DDS/Ph.D. program is offered in conjunction with the Department of Biomedical Sciences in the School of Graduate Studies. This program trains clinical and research professionals seeking to identify and solve significant problems in oral health and its influence on overall health. Successful completion of the program leads to the DDS and PhD degrees.
DDS International Track Program
The Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry International Track Program is an advanced standing program for dentists who have completed their dental training outside of a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited U.S. or Canada dental program.
