Applicants for all residency programs or fellow programs at Meharry Medical College must be a United States citizen, a lawful permanent resident, a refugee, an asylee, or must possess the appropriate documentation to allow the resident to legally train at Meharry Medical College. Meharry Medical College currently does not sponsor Visas. 

Proof of Selective Service Registration 
Meharry Medical College residents have clinical rotations at state and federal clinic sites. In accordance with U.S. Federal policies, all male U.S. citizens and non-citizens living in the U.S. must register for Selective Service to be eligible to work a government job. Proof of registration will be collected by all male applicants who accept an interview with Meharry Medical College.
