Ten students at Meharry School of Applied Computational Sciences have been awarded an Oracle “Inspire Your Future” Scholarship. The initiative includes a $25,000 scholarship that will be applied, over two years, towards their education at Meharry.
The recipients, who are in the Fall 2024 Cohort for the Master of Science in Data Science degree program, are Ada’Jiah Burton, Tehelah Lisett Edwards, Mikel Houston, Jalen Jackson, Khiri Amir Jenkins, Farhana Manzoor, Mian Pan, Brian Strong, Aysia Veal, and Deshon Wilson.







“Congratulations to our Fall 2024 Cohort Oracle ‘Inspire Your Future’ scholarship recipients,” says JeanLuc Nshimiyimana, M.Ed., director, Enrollment Management and Professional Development, Meharry School of Applied Computational Science. “This meaningful support not only helps make their future career goals attainable, but can also provide valuable networking opportunities.”
The Oracle “Inspire Your Future” initiative provides tools and resources for students to thrive in the technology industry. In addition to awarding student scholarships, Oracle provides support to various universities through guest lectures, professional development workshops, organizing hackathons, case competitions, and more.
