SACS Student Courtney Quarterman Makes Headlines At International Business Times

Meharry School of Applied Computational Sciences (SACS) congratulates Courtney Quarterman, data science Ph.D. candidate, on her recent interview with International Business Times titled “Building Global STEM Ecosystem: Courtney Quarterman on How Strategic Partnerships Drive Educational Innovation.”
 
“It really is about building a STEM ecosystem,” says Quarterman,
discussing her work to build a global STEM ecosystem through strategic partnerships and expanded access to education.
 
“The goal is to increase access to quality STEM resources, including curricula, teacher training and exposure to technology.”
 
Her focus on collaboration, equity and innovation reflects the mission of Meharry SACS to increase opportunity and representation in computational sciences.
