High School STEM Internship Program

Exciting Opportunity for High School Students!
High school students will intern with top scientific mentors at Meharry Medical College, gaining hands-on experience in biological sciences to support their future academic and career aspirations.
Program Overview
Duration: The program consists of two summer sessions: an 8-week internship in summer 2026, followed by a second 8-week internship in summer 2027, allowing selected students to continue their research projects, deepen their training, and complete defined research outcomes.
Location: Meharry Medical College
Eligibility: Applicants must be rising juniors during the internship period beginning in June 2026, with strong academic performance, an interest in STEM, and extracurricular involvement.
Graduation Restriction: Must not have graduated from high school by November 2027.
