Project Cure
Meharry Medical College collaborates with Project C.U.R.E.—the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies and equipment to impoverished countries—to advance global health fairness through service, education, and research. Led by Dr. Michael Caldwell, Meharry’s associate vice President of Vaccine Research and education and ambassador to the Project C.U.R.E. Board, this partnership is supported by the Office for Research and Innovation. It offers students hands-on experience in public health service while reinforcing Meharry’s mission to serve the underserved. Together, they empower communities around the world by combining medical innovation, academic training, and compassionate outreach to strengthen health systems where the need is greatest.
