Meharry is a member of the NSF-funded consortium titled “Center for COMmunity Empowering Pandemic Prediction and Prevention from Atoms to SocietieS (COMPASS Center). This consortium, led by Virginia Tech, includes Meharry, University of Michigan, University of North Arizona, Cornell University, and Wake Forest University. Meharry’s role is to conduct multidisciplinary student training to develop a competitive workforce for implementing the Predictive Intelligence for Pandemic Prediction (PIPP).  This partnership is led by Drs. Shanker (PI), and Ramesh (Co-I/Project Director).
