Office of General Counsel
The Office of General Counsel serves as a trusted partner and legal advisor to support our institution’s mission of education, research, and patient care.

We provide expert legal guidance on a broad range of issues, including compliance, contracts, risk management, regulatory affairs, and intellectual property, helping to safeguard the college’s integrity and advance its goals.

Contracts

Contracts and agreements, regardless of the source of funding or whether they involve an exchange of funds versus an exchange of services or goods, must be reviewed by the General Counsel’s office for correct form and legal sufficiency. College contracts and agreements can take many forms, including but not limited to: purchase or sale agreements, licensing agreements, memoranda of understanding or agreement, professional services agreements, affiliation agreements, leases, deeds and easements.

The Compliance office supports our mission to train competent, ethical, and compassionate healthcare professionals and employees by ensuring that all programs meet federal, state, accreditation and institutional requirements.
Risk Management
The Office of Risk Management is committed to fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all programs, clinical enterprises and collegewide.
