Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation (OIEA) provides oversight, guidance, education, and support for all accreditation activities at MMC. The office is also the primary unit responsible for institutional level continuous quality improvement processes in support of academic programs.
Accreditation
Meharry Medical College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), affirming our commitment to excellence in higher education.
Assessment
At Meharry Medical College, institutional effectiveness is a comprehensive, data-informed process that ensures continuous improvement across academic and administrative units. Through the distinct but complementary practices of assessment and evaluation, we measure outcomes, enhance student learning, and support strategic decision-making.
Institutional Effectiveness and Institutional Research
Institutional Effectiveness (IE) and Institutional Research (IR) serve important, but distinct purposes for Meharry.
