Mission

The Office of Information Technology provides reliable and timely technical services to the campus community that promotes efficiency and effectiveness through innovation and integration of technologies.

Vision

The Office of Information Technology will identify and deliver emerging and leading-edge technical solutions that support the goals of Meharry Medical College. 

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) supports the mission of the college through the delivery of service offerings and technologies to academic, administrative, and clinical-enterprise units of the college. Our dedicated and committed staff is focused in delivering excellent service thorough the support and use of the technology for the campus community. 

OIT provides several resources including: 

  • Help Desk—Support to resolve computer and telecommunication issues 
  • Technical Procurement Services—Ordering of computers, software, mobile phones, telecommunication equipment and services 
  • Training—Instructor-led and computer based technical training for Academic and Administrative Systems

Violations of Policies

Violations of any policy should be reported to your supervisor, Human Resources, a department chair, and/or the office responsible for the policy. Where these resources are inadequate, you may choose to make an anonymous report through the Compliance Hotline: (888) 695-1534.
