Campus Operations
Meharry Campus Operations is committed to planning, operating, protecting, and sustaining the MMC campus. This is achieved by promoting a culture of planning by aligning the campus environment with the strategic mission of the Meharry Medical College and establishing clear vision and expectations.
Maintenance Services
The functions of repair and routine maintenance, energy management, and special projects are scheduled, performed, and managed for more than 1.5 million square feet of building spaces. Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance care for the 32 acres of properties on the main campus, to include the maintenance of irrigation systems, curbs, gutters, arterial sidewalks.
Project Request
Projects involving change of use, design, planning, or construction of campus facilities are initialized through the submission of a Facilities Improvement Form (FIM). Initiators should submit if the request meets one of the following:
- Space renovations and alterations
- New construction
- Space-modifications or major furniture relocations.
Space Allocation Request
Please complete and submit the Facility Improvements and Modifications Request Form for changes to use, configuration, or allocation of spaces.
Custodial Services
To proactively develop and implement environmentally sensitive service solutions that promote a safer and healthier learning environment for our students, patients and staff, reduce our environmental footprint, and are fiscally responsible to the needs of the camps.
