Division of Finance

The Division of Finance oversees five departments that, collectively, ensure that the financial resources of Meharry Medical College are distributed, accounted for, and reported accurately. Led by Cynthia Clemons, MHA, senior vice president and chief financial officer, the Division’s responsibilities extend to on-campus services such as housing, postal and printing needs.

  • Student Account Receivables 

Office of the Controller 

  • Financial accounting and reporting functions, including payroll, procurement, accounts payable, property management and grants/contracts 
  • Compliance regarding College, state and federal requirements, guidelines and laws 

Office of Financial Planning and Analysis 

  • Development/ Management of the College’s annual operating and capital budget 
  • Financial Analysis 
  • Ad Hoc Reporting
