In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Meharry Medical College maintains a Daily Crime Log documenting reported criminal incidents that occur on campus or within the Department of Campus Safety and Security’s patrol jurisdiction.

The Daily Crime Log includes, as required by federal law, the nature of the crime, the date and time the incident was reported, the date and time the incident occurred, the general location of the incident, and the current disposition of the case, if known.

The log is updated within two business days of the Department receiving information about a reportable crime and is available for public inspection. Certain information may be temporarily withheld if release would compromise an ongoing criminal investigation, jeopardize the safety of an individual, or result in the identification of a victim, as permitted under federal law.

The Daily Crime Log reflects reported incidents and does not necessarily indicate that a crime has been verified or that a suspect has been identified or arrested.
