The library houses 27 study rooms that may be used for individual or group study.
The Library Lounge on the library’s second floor (3rd floor of the LRC) provides a quiet place to eat with bistro seating and other lounge amenities and an ample group study space on the opposite side of the room, equipped with large whiteboard tables and seats and rolling whiteboards for study and collaboration.
Students can use whiteboard markers to mark up the tables in the Library Lounge, which also may be used as study tables.
The library’s third floor (4th floor of the LRC) houses individual, locked study cubicles for high stakes testing study (use by reservation only), study tables and seating, individual study carrels, group study rooms, and modular moveable seating.
To reserve a lockable study cubicle for high stakes testing exam study, email vsmith@mmc.edu to be placed on a waiting list. Ms. Smith will contact those on the waitlist when a room becomes available.
The Bloomberg Reading Room Suite on the veranda level of the LRC (outside the library entrance) provides two small rooms set aside for individual or group study. The library’s total user seating totals 323 seats.
