SACS By the Numbers
Founded in 2021, Meharry School of Applied Computational Sciences extends the storied academic tradition of Meharry Medical College through reseach and academic programs in artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, biomedical data science, computer science, cybersecurity assurance, and data science.
The School advances scholarship in key domains of computational sciences by:
- Innovating through socially responsible and impactful research and development to approach complex problems like precision medicine and disease prediction;
- Academic excellence accentuated through outstanding service to humanity;
- Connecting to key health care industries, business, influencers, and thought leaders; and
