About the Division

The Division advises the President on academic priorities and partners in exploring new approaches to teaching, research, and scholarship. In doing so, it is committed to promoting student and faculty success, ensuring well-being, and cultivating an environment that advances collaboration, productivity, and professional growth.

At the heart of Academic Affairs is a shared commitment to shaping the next generation of health leaders. Faculty and staff work together to prepare physicians, dentists, physician assistants, scientists, and public health professionals who will make a difference in their communities and beyond. Across the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Graduate Studies, Applied Computational Sciences, and Global Health, we focus on recruiting and retaining talent, supporting student and faculty well-being, and fostering leadership. Through these priorities, we continue to create new knowledge and strengthen our impact in the community.
