To lead effectively in today’s data-driven world, you must understand how information shapes decisions, reveals inequities, and drives innovation.
Understanding the language of data and the power of artificial intelligence. Data and AI have become the driving forces behind innovation, strategy and decision-making across every sector. This non-technical certificate program helps participants build confidence in working with both data and AI by developing the ability to understand, question, and communicate insights drawn from data and AI systems.
You’ll begin by exploring the fundamentals of data literacy: how to locate, interpret, and analyze data to uncover patterns and tell compelling stories through visualization and evidence-based reasoning. Building on this foundation, the course introduces key concepts in AI through engaging, hands-on activities that require no coding experience.
Together, we’ll demystify commonly used AI terms such as machine learning, deep learning, explainable AI, natural language processing and generative models. You’ll also examine real-world AI applications in health care, business, and everyday life, understanding how organizations can become AI-driven and what ethical, social and governance challenges accompany this transformation.
By the end of the program, participants will gain a clear understanding of how data and AI intersect to create insight, innovation and impact— equipping you to navigate an increasingly data- and AI-driven world with confidence.
